California based Groove/Latin metal band featuring Raymond Herrera (Fear Factory, Archaea) drumming on the track 'Revolution' as well as special guest Tony Campos (Soulfly, Asesino)on bass and Aaron Rossi (Ministry, Prong), Hector Guerra, Zero Elvuh, Ricardo Vignini (Stand Against Everything) and Silverio Pessoa and an array of producers including Raymond Herrera, Jeremy Blair, Logan Mader, Erik Reichers and Cristian Machado (Ill Nino). Black Oil, born as a political groove metal band originally from Brazil, are no strangers to sharing the stage with big acts like MEGADETH, FEAR FACTORY and SLIPKNOT and have been direct support for bands like SOULFLY, OTEP, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, ARCH ENEMY, CARNIFEX, ANTHRAX, CATTLE DECAPITATION, ASESINO and many more. Their original sound comes from a unique blend of cultures and years of experience. Guitarist and founder, Addasi Addasi has traveled well over thirty countries, picking up many styles and riffs along the way. All these cultures mix together to form very powerful political metal.
