Three times you can guess where the sea turtle lives! Right in the water! Since it's her habitat, she can swim very well. To breathe, sea turtles stretch their head out of the water. In part, they also breathe through the skin. Some remain under the ice even for weeks in winter.
The female goes ashore for birth. There she digs a deep pit, into which she lays the eggs. After that, it is filled up again. The sun is now hatching the eggs. When the boys hatch, they immediately run to the sea so that they are not eaten by birds.
There are a total of seven different types. Depending on the species, they become different in size, heavy and old. Their appearance, too, differs significantly. Sea turtles feed on seaweed, seaweed, tang, jellyfish, sponges, small fish, snails and squid.
