| | Beschreibung: | 2014 debut full-length from the Electropop outfit. Since releasing their debut EP a TASTE OF SILVER in 2013, UK-born and L.A.-based trio Until the Ribbon Breaks has received critical praise across the board for their unique sound and vision, from the likes of NPR, Pitchfork, SPIN Magazine, Vogue, and beyond. Described as 'Apocalyptic pop' (Pitchfork) - with due and equal praise for their visual components so often brought to the table with each new track - the 'electro-pop auteurs' (SPIN) - present a LESSON UNLEARNT. From a golden era when the mix-tape once reigned supreme, Until the Ribbon Breaks has embraced their love of old school pop, hip-hop and electronic and cleverly weaved together original sounds, samples and lyrics, with the production skills not unlike that of previous musical genre-hopping masters such as Bowie, Beck, Prince, Portishead, and Massive Attack.
