Classic album from the 90s. Beginning with the infectious riff of Somebody To Shove, then the uplifting anthem Black Gold, followed by the emotional power of hit single Runaway Train. The album starts strong and the quality doesn't drop at all throughout. It also provides a great snapshot of how great rock music was in the 90s. Soul Asylum, unlike some bands from that era, managed to continue producing good records after this, right up to the present.
