Extra-Infos: =10th Studio Lp For Lydon's Post Pistols Punk-combo=
Description:Re-issue - Back in print â?? from 2015. What The World Needs Now is a terrific record; more confident, arrogant, surprising, consistent and artistic than 2012â??s rather fine This Is PiL (which hewed just a little too closely to evoking the groupâ??s past), the new album validates the idea that PiL are a vital and evolving art rock band with an identity entirely separate from both the Sex Pistols and the more â??commercialâ? â??83-â??92 ideations of PiL. The Observer - =10TH STUDIO LP FOR LYDON'S POST PISTOLS PUNK-COMBO=
2015 release, the 10th studio album from John Lydon and his Public Image Ltd (PiL) mates. The 11-track album follows the huge critical success of 2012's This is PiL, the band's first album in 17 years. Commenting on the album, Lydon says, 'Buy now while stocks last.' Widely regarded as one of the most innovative and influential bands of all time, PiL's music and vision earned them five UK Top 20 singles and five UK Top 20 albums. With a shifting line-up and unique sound, John Lydon guided the band from their debut album First Issue in 1978 through to 1992's That What Is Not. After a 17 year hiatus, Lydon reactivated PiL in 2009. Last year the band returned to Steve Winwood's Wincraft studio in the Cotswolds to record this album.

Valeriy R. - 28/Sep/2020 5 of 5 Stars!
The last album from Public Image Limited headed by John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten in his previous life). Cool post-punk with brutal vocal, freaky lyrics, really very impressive. Must have!
