This version of Please Mr. Organ Player / Send Me Softly comes as a 1xCD. - .. / SEND ME SOFTLYDigitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of albums from the Jazz great on one CD plus seven bonus tracks. Includes the complete album PLEASE MR. ORGAN, which appears here for the first time ever on CD. As a bonus, Buckner's album SEND ME SOFTLY in it's entirety, featuring the formidable alto saxophonist Earle Warren. Both albums present a similar instrumental format, with Bucker's organ backed by alto sax, guitar, bass and drums. A complete four-tune session (also featuring Earle Warren) and three further tunes from the same period that were first issued on singles have also been added as a bonus.
