Description:Digitally re-mastered edition of this 1969 album. Brazil's Milton Nascimento is a musical giant. His eponymous third album built on his breakthrough in 1967 and period of recording in America. This album, Milton Nascimento, was Nascimento's statement that although he was known in America, he was back in Brazil, for Brazil and of Brazil. Milton Nascimento was where his backing band, Som Imaginaro - although not credited under that name - were first heard. Milton Nascimento is distinctively Brazilian, but has influences drawn from European and American Pop and Jazz, including tinges of what would later be called Progressive Rock. The album's voice is unique. Cherry Red.
