Made in the U.S.A."Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?" (Remastered) is a landmark album by the legendary thrash metal band Megadeth, available here in CD format. Originally released in 1986 and now remastered for superior sound quality, this record showcases Megadeth at their creative peak with iconic tracks like "Peace Sells," "Wake Up Dead," and "Devils Island." The band's razor-sharp riffs, complex arrangements, and politically charged lyrics have made this album a cornerstone of heavy metal history. Megadeth, formed by Dave Mustaine after his departure from Metallica, has become one of the most influential bands in the genre with multiple platinum albums and Grammy nominations. This release comes from Capitol Records, a renowned music label known for its commitment to high-quality productions and an impressive roster that includes some of the biggest names in music history. | | Producer: |

Goran M. - 24/Apr/2024 I like better original album than this remastered, yet, Randy Burns remixes and masters are something that stands upfront. Not every song, but those best from the album are on this list and are truly much better than originals. Recommendation for this CD.
| | Vitali T. - 20/Oct/2022 And this is the second studio album of a thrash metal band from America. And it was released in 1986. An interesting fact: on the cover of the album, against the background of red-orange tones, the UN General Assembly is shown, destroyed during a nuclear attack. A nice addition to this edition in the form of 4 bonus tracks.
| | Vladislav M. - 18/Dec/2020 It's funny that this album is the same age as "Master of Puppets" and "Reign in Blood". Of course, the albums of the more mature bands are in many ways ahead of the subject, but by the standards of Megadeth this is one of the strongest records.
| | Bojan I. - 18/Aug/2020 I love this album. For me Megadeth became Megadeth on this album.
| | Alexander S. - 05/Nov/2019 This album is masterpiece! All songs shred and are filled with monster riffs and guitar solos galore. This remaster has good booklet and good sound.
| | Alexander S. - 11/Jul/2019 This record became a logical continuation of "Killing Is My Bussiness ..." and at the same time a turning point in the career of the group - it was after "Peace Sells ..." that they spoke about Megasmerty as one of the leading thrash groups. It should be noted more professional in comparison with the debut album sound. There are no weak things on the album, except for the penultimate thing, but if we take this cover as a banter, then everything is fine. The rest of the songs are real kick ass! Gloomy, moderately high-speed speed-thrash with a powerful rhythm section, excellent guitar work and characteristic Mustaine vocals. My favorites are “Peace Sells ...”, “Good Mourning / Black Friday”, “My Last Words”. I would especially note the "Good Mourning ..." At that time, only Slayer and Kreator could boast of such anger and bloody naturalism!
| | Vladimir G. - 25/May/2019 Together with Rust in Peace, this is the highlight of Megadeth's discography. Too bad Mustaine decided to remix these recordings, because they were just fine on their own.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 21/Nov/2018 Peace sell is Megadeth historical album and in thrash metal history, it is best album.
unique and deep sound and message. I love this album . and I have new remastered 2 cd also.
| | jared l'esperance - 29/Apr/2012 This remix sounds excellent sound wise, BUT unfortunately, this is NOT how the album sounded when it was released and NOT how it was meant to sound. The reverb was cut in half, the drum sound is changed (snare and now triggered drums) which is totally NON 80's. The superior version of this release is the 2011 remaster only release with a second cd of a live show in 1987. My advice: this album is so bad ass, I would recommend BOTH the 2011 remaster and this, the 2004 remix. Both albums deserve to be in your collection. And for seven bucks, how can you turn it down?
| | Paulos K. - 21/Feb/2020 The best album by megadeth!Every song is a masterpiece.Father Dave teaches how thrash should be played! The technical skills are on the highest level and once you push the play button there's no return!
