Continuing their evolution from "Monolith of Inhumanity", this album takes everything that was great about their last three albums, and further refines and evolves from there.

Cattle Decapitation have made a huge turn in their past 2 albums. I think they have re-invented themselves both musically and artistically. Both Monolith of Inhumanity and The Anthropocene Extinction are masterpieces in my opinion. Travis's Ryan vocal manage to be both crushingly brutal and melodic at the same time. Some people would say they sound rather "clean" but I dont agree with that. Overall amazing album.
