This release contains 1951-1962 vocal group recordings for the famed New York label Atlantic and its subsidiaries. Will appeal to fans of Rhythm & Blues, doo wop and roots-of-soul sounds. Features pivotal tracks by the labels most famous vocal groups The Clovers, The Drifters and The Coasters, as well as a trio of early Isley Brothers recordings.
