Ivica S. - 28/Feb/2021 This album is amazing rhythm album - of course Sepultura is no stranger to using more than one tempo in each of their songs, it's practically a requirement for all thrash metal bands... 5 STARS
| | Vladislav M. - 05/May/2020 On this record, Sepultura was very much rebuilt and began to focus more on Groove, this affected both songwriting and the overall sound. This album has a lot of fans, but I can’t classify myself among them ...

| | Alexander S. - 07/Oct/2018 One of the best creations of Brazilian hardcore thrashers led by Max Cavalera. At least it is "Chaos A.D." absorbed all the most famous things Sepultura. And the video for "Refuse / Resist" I consider one of the best in metal in general. The speed of the performance has fallen very much, but it is already impossible to accept this album as Thrash Metal. Anti-system thrashly hardcore - probably the best definition of this album. The texts are very clear and straightforward, in my opinion, given the theme of the album, they should be as such. The song "The Hunt" is very different from the rest, but this is not a Sepultur thing, but it's a pity it would be more such and the album would be even brighter. I remember when I bought this CD back in school for a long time I got used to ragged, absolutely non-melodious songs, literally raping my ears. But after a while the same "Refuse / Resist" for a while became a real anthem for the young metalhead.
