Nebojsa B. - 26/Aug/2023 Repress of first edition (not remaster), comes with booklet that is expanded into a poster with a picture of a band. This is a release without bonus tracks. For me probably one of weakest Dio records but it has some great tracks and moments - just a personal opinion.
| | Alexander S. - 08/Sep/2020 This is certainly not Dio's best album. At first I didn't like him at all. Too long (60 min), the songs are not heavy, the guitars are not killer, the choruses are not catchy. Time passed, and I probably grew up. There are extra songs on the album. For example, the same "My Eyes". She is not needed here! And without her, everything is gorgeous! And "Walk On Water"? Not worth it. And "Twisted" is not a masterpiece. In one interview, Dio mentioned that it would be great to return to the seventies, when the album physically could not be longer than 45 minutes! Indeed, if we remove these three songs (eighth, ninth and eleventh) we get something amazing. "Wild One" is a fast-paced classic Dio. "Born On The Sun" is a slow classic Dio. "Hey Angel" is a very beautiful soulful song. "Between Two Hearts" is a love ballad that does not go down to vulgar pop. "Night Music" is a competent, beautiful composition. "Lock Up The Wolves" is the quintessence of the entire album. "Evil On Queen Street" is a genius blues. "Why Are They Watching Me" is a classic Dio, no worse than any song from "Holy Diver".
