Eugene S. - 04/Jul/2024 The sixth album by the American heavy metal band Manowar, released on November 18, 1988. In 2017, Loudwire ranked it as the 13th-best power metal album of all time.
| | Azmi H. - 28/Sep/2022 Another great outing for this outstanding band. Every album is an adventure and this one certainly rocks. From start to finish an awesome ride.
| | Vladislav M. - 12/Oct/2020 In my opinion, Kings of Metal (together with Fighting the World) is the peak of Manowar's creativity and thought, which remained in the 80s and which was not destined to be repeated in future periods. Perfect warlike Heavy Metal.
| | Alexander S. - 07/Aug/2019 This I understand! Kings of Metal is not just in name, but in deed. Great drive! Fury and pomposity merged into one, heavy driving riffs spill over from medium-tempo action movies to high-speed Rubilovo, melodic solos as it should be on a real Teutonic heavy metal are present in every song. Even the instrumental is made very cool. Not to mention such eternal songs as “Wheels Of Fire” and “Hail And Kill”. I heard this work back in the 90s, and as I remember now, a powerful ballad with a strong and smart text “Heart Of Steel”. The only thing I didn’t like here was the prayer song “The Warriors Prayer” and the opera track “The Crown And The Ring” - I do not respect all these jokes. This album is the pinnacle of the group’s creativity, every heavy metal lover should listen to it, because on it, like on other classic works, the whole modern power heavy metal scene is built, because this is the basis of the ideology of every real metal group. This is what makes us stronger...
