 | | Description: | Digitally remastered and expanded edition of this 1982 Metal classic including four bonus tracks. Part Motörhead, part Iron Maiden, part Ted Nugent, and among one of the best Metal bands of the era, The Rods from Upstate New York were as much a part of the early 80's U.K. New Wave of British Heavy Metal scene as any of their Brit contemporaries. Packed with prime Metal morsels and some of the meatiest riffs committed to record, Wild Dogs is still respected as one of the best-in-show at the height of the NWOBHM era, setting obedience standards that still resonate today. 14 tracks. This energetic record captures the raw power and unfiltered spirit of early '80s American metal, featuring driving guitar riffs, thunderous drumming, and gritty vocals. Standout tracks like "Too Hot to Stop," "Violation," and the title track "Wild Dogs" showcase the band's signature blend of speed, melody, and attitude. The Rods?formed by David "Rock" Feinstein (cousin of Ronnie James Dio), Garry Bordonaro, and Carl Canedy?earned acclaim for their relentless touring schedule and high-voltage performances alongside legends such as Judas Priest and Iron Maiden. Over their career, they've become cult favorites among fans of traditional heavy metal.
