 Pamela B. - 2019年 07月 17日  Everyone falls in love 💘 with this gentle giant. His music is timeless, transcends all barriers, unites everyone, known to all who love him as Brudda Iz. I discovered this artist when my boyfriend visited Hawaii for an annual business meeting. They had them someplace interesting every year, that year was Hawaii. He came back and had me listen to Iz over the phone, he lived in Mississippi. He had bought an Iz cd, played some for me, the first song he played me was " Starting All Over Again". It was so beautiful I literally cried listening to the song. It's about Hawaiian beliefs, 💘 Love , dying, afterlife, such a powerful song! That's all it took I was a fan! But I loved everything he sang! I guarantee it your looking for something mellow, to unwind with ,this is the ticket, if you're looking for soft romantic music this will fit the bill, if you just want to relax forget about the outside world put on Brudda Iz, having a summer party around the pool this music is perfect! You are already familiar with his music & don't even realize it they play snipers & clips in commmercials, while songs in movies, "50 First Dates, " Meet Joe Black", " Finding Forrester", & tv shows ER, Scubs, etc. His most recognizable song is Somewhere Over the Rainbow! I'll take his version anyway over everyone else's anyday! His voice is angelic, & so is soul. Now he sleeps with angels, he passed away much too soon at the young age of 38, in June 1997. He was one of only 1000 native Hawiians left on the islands, but his music is more popular now than when he was alive! That happens with a lot of the great artists of our time!
