Description:I Am Not Afraid Of You An by Yo La Tengo, released 7 September 2006, includes the following tracks: "I Feel Like Going Home", "Black Flowers", "The Room Got Heavy", "Daphnia" and more. This version of I Am Not Afraid Of You An comes as a 1xCD. - ...AND I WILL...
This bold, eclectic, 80-minute album is the pinnacle of the band's twenty-year career. From eleven-minute guitar jams to gorgeous ballads to winsome horn-drenched pop songs, this album is all over the map, in a very good way. Features the talents of longtime Nashville producer Roger Moutenot, violinist Dave Mansfield of Dylan's Rolling Thunder Review, and the jacket artistry of Gary Panter.
Recorded at Haptown Studio in Nashville. Mixed at Brooklyn Recording in Brooklyn. Cover painting: "Little Pink Lady". Buddies: Kurt and Mary, Jonathan and Lesley, Andy and Suzanne, Yohei, Jason, Marshall, Malcolm and Barbara, Mike Davis, Nick Hill, Sue Garner, and Amy. Issued in a six panel Digipak. The final track is a deliberate misspelling of the band's name ? the album's CD-Text reiterating this by listing the track as "The Story of Yo La Tango", followed by the message "Yes ? it should be Tango!". ©? 2006 Matador Records.
