The album In Their Darkened Shrines is almost a real book. Such a deep journey into the world of Ancient Egypt, the group itself did not make either before or after ... and I do not know whether anyone else is destined to conquer this milestone. On the one hand, this is a great composer work. On the other hand, it’s like a movie, but in which both the budget is high and the involved team has knowledge of the matter. In a way, I am not surprised that Karl Sanders has accumulated so many ethnic sketches that he simply could not help but release the Saurian Meditation, otherwise the Annihilation of the Wicked could be even more stuffed with thematic inserts.

Nile poursuit son chemin avec son troisième album, In Their Darkened Shrines. Les compositions sont encore plus impressionnantes que sur les 2 albums précédents et le travail réalisé sur les ambiances nous plonge sans difficulté dans leur univers, l'Egypte antique. Un véritable bijoux à posséder pour les amateurs de Death Technique et Brutal avec une réelle identité.
