Yuriy P. - 07/12/2019 Armored Saint always differed from their colleagues in the so-called “labor metal” with healthy enthusiasm and strong, solid sound, as well as an original image and symbolism a la “medieval knights”. And this is the second LP group in a row. Compared to the first album, progress is noticeable towards the complication of melody, quality and technicality, which has a beneficial effect on the material - strong, high-quality and strong. The sound is very hard, but pretty clear. Now there are absolutely no weak songs left, and there are also hits - the alarming “Nervous Man” (2), the complex and progressive semi-ballad “Aftermath” (7), as well as the tough and energetic “You're Never Alone” (9). There are, of course, small flaws - this is straightforwardness and some prevalence of dry technicality and energy over melody. But all the same, the album as a whole is excellent and is recommended to anyone who is seriously interested in heavy metal and does not limit themselves to listening exclusively to the grand genres.
