This version of Sound Of Acid Jazz comes as a 2xCD. - The popular and well respected Brand New Heavies were formed in west London in 1985 and were influential in creating what became known as acid jazz. Today they continue to play a leading role in British dance music, their unique mix of jazz, funk and soul having lit up the scene for nearly three decades. Enjoy the cream of their Acid Jazz years here, with tracks such as 'Never Stop', 'Shakedown' and 'Stay This Way'.3-panel digipak, no booklet.

Includes all previously released BNH tracks (or versions of them) related to the first BNH album, those on the [url=http://www.discogs.com/master/79356]1990/1[/url] and [url=http://www.discogs.com/master/253604]1992[/url] versions, its singles, and the unreleased tracks from the era released on the 1994 "[m=78005]" compilation.
Probably recorded during the same period but not included here: "Rock Steady (Instrumental)" on "[r=4074561]" and the live "Doin' It To Death" on "[r=3357107]".
1-1 "Never Stop (7" Single Mix)" (3:37) is an edit of 2-14 "Never Stop (Morales Mix)" (4:02).
1-3 "Stay This Way" (3:50) is the first BNH compilation (album) to feature the 1992 UK/Europe only [url=http://www.discogs.com/master/79343]single version[/url].
1-14 "Keep It Coming" (4:12) is the first BNH release of the short remix since 1992's "[m=77798]" single.
