Descripción:Trivium stormed onto the metal scene in 2005 with their critically acclaimed debut album ASCENDENCY and continued their dominance with the follow-up THE CRUSADE. Now the band has unleashed their most cohesive and mature effort, SHOGUN. The band has taken their experience of the last 4 years touring the globe headlining the Black Crusade tour with DragonForce and Machine Head, touring with Lamb of God and Slayer and being hand picked to be direct support on the European legs of Iron Maidens world Tour. SHOGUN has also opened new doors to the mainstream for Trivium with a placement on the massive Madden video game series with "Into the Mouth of Hell We March." the band is poised to continue to knock the metal and hard rock community on it's ass with what will definitely be hailed as the metal album of year by critics and fans alike., Runningtime: 00:00:00, A&R: Monte Conner, Art Direction, Artwork, Design: Paul Romano, Bass: Paulo Gregoletto, Booking [Domestic]: Josh Kline, Booking [Domestic]: Tim Borror, Booking [International]: Paul Ryan (3), Drums: Travis Smith, Engineer: Paul Fig, Engineer [Assistant]: Matt Wiggins, Engineer [Mix]: Jeff Rose, Engineer [Mix]: Martyn Ford (2), Engineer [Pre-Production]: Mark Lewis, Engineer [Second Engineer]: Ben Terry, Guitar: Corey Beaulieu, Legal: Roberts & Ritholz, Management: Brian Heafy, Management: Justin Arcangel, Management [Business]: Glenn Nordlinger, Mastered By: Ted Jensen, Mixed By: Colin Richardson, Producer, Engineer [Additional Engineering]: Nick Raskulinecz, Technician [Drum Tech]: John Nicholson (2), Technician [Guitar Tech]: Ken Andrews, Tour Manager: Beau King, Tour Manager: Melissa Cordivano-King, Vocals, Guitar: Matt Heafy, Written-By, Arranged By: Trivium, Labelcode WBUK6179852.2 (1686-179852), Phonographic Copyright (p) The All Blacks B.V., Copyright (c) The All Blacks B.V., Licensed To Roadrunner Records, Licensed From The All Blacks B.V., Manufactured By Warner Music Group, Distributed By Warner Music Group, Recorded At Sound Kitchen, Mixed At Miloco Studios, Mastered At Sterling Sound, Glass Mastered At Cinram, Olyphant, PA

The fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Trivium. The album was released worldwide on September 23, 2008. Shogun largely features a continuation of the band playing thrash metal, metalcore, and progressive metal, the latter exhibited by technical instrumentation and longer song lengths.

Trivium are a peculiar band. With the hidden gem that was '*Ember to Inferno*' and the stunning breakthrough album '*Ascendancy*' behind them, the Fl...

If 2006’s The Crusade provides any indication, Trivium would like nothing more than to become the next Metallica. On that album, vocalist/guitarist Ma...

An unhappy medium. Their first (major) album, full of screamcore and shoutmax. They tour with Machine head. Their next album, full of thrash and Me...

From all trivium records, this one is the most unique, as it takes months to get used to the songs and teir complexity. The songs are quite long with countless riffs and parts, combined with the mythological aproach of the lyrics, give an epic sense to the album. It gets 4 out of 5 cause the songs, like i said, are very hard to listen the first time and this makes it a little boring.
