Alyaksei A. - 18/May/2022 This is the great reissue of the famous Brazilian thrash metal classic with remastered sound and bonus tracks.
| | Ivica S. - 28/Feb/2021 This album epitomizes the golden age of THRASH , where the riffs changed about once every few seconds, and we all just grabbed ahold of whatever was within reach and held on for dear life... Highly recommended
| | Athanasios B. - 13/Feb/2021 This is the magnus opus of the Brazilians. Gigantic album with gigantic songs. Thrash metal at the boundaries of death metal. All time classic.
| | Vladislav M. - 07/Nov/2019 The pinnacle of the band’s creative thought, the perfect Thrash Metal and one of Sepultura’s most recognizable albums. For me personally, after Arise, listen to the band on Chaos A.D. and other albums are not very interesting, experiments with industrial and ethnics are very specific.
Therefore, I prefer previously truly evil and metallic creativity.
| | Alexander S. - 07/Aug/2019 This is the case when aggression, energy, melody, playing technique, vocals and everything else are in perfect proportion. The strongest, uncompromising things. The title thing is just insanity! No primitivism - everything ingenious is simple. Progress over Beneath The Remains is more than obvious. There was some compositional rampant on the previous album - all the songs were extremely alike. On “Arise” things are more thoughtful, there is no excessive variety (too often changing rhythms and melodies), so that every thing is complete and complete. In addition, due to the variety of songs that appeared according to the criterion of speed and their specific mutual arrangement, the album as a whole looks very interesting - it has quite recognizable ones: beginning, middle and ending. It should also be noted the excellent recording quality. The original drum sound is especially impressive. As for the originality of the material itself, then, of course, you cannot find one here. The original was Slayer's “Reign In Blood” in 1986 (and the Brazilian “Morbid Visions” too!), And as for “Arise”, in 1991, without giving the world anything new, it simply became the pinnacle of the development of music in this style . No more, but no less. Quite rightly: the album is an era! Classic.
| | Luck T. - 05/Jun/2019 This could be the best album of Sepultura. Songs are dynamic, melodic powerful and intense. One of the thrash metal albums.

| | Vagner C. - 15/Jul/2018 In 'Arise', the Brazilian Thrash metal maniacs of Sepultura released their furious sound to the world. With a better production than previous releases, this album was acclaimed throughout the world.
