This is by far the most brilliant album of Sepultura!
Real thrash and shows the beginnings of their progression towards more brutal sound!

It’s a totally standout album that shows perfectly how to push forward the standards of the genre in an extremely creative, yet still brutal way - from me, for SEPULTURA: 5 STARS

My first Sepultura LP in mid-80th was this album, issued by Shark records... Now to recall these times I've bought this CD! Not disappointed at all - raw production, simple and effective reefs and lots of knotted at its finest. Classic stuff!

Very fast, vicious, aggressive and on testosterone.Young Sepulture are gods of speed and rage.
For more than 30 years, the album remains relevant in the genre of extreme music, it is inspirational and inaccessible. The phenomenon of his time!

the kind of insidious thrash that gets a grip on you, and sends you flying hard and fast through its guitar assaults. With impressive speed, evil atmosphere, sinister riffs, and improved production and musicianship, Schizophrenia is the kind of album that show

Old Sepultura is on the thin line of thrash and death metal.

The second album of these Brazilian thrashers. The first part of the trilogy "Schizophrenia - Beneath the Remains - Arise". There is a clear progress compared with Morbid Visions, both in vocal and instrumental terms. The sound is still a bit raw, but much more professional. Especially distinguished inimitable Kisser solos. Igor Kavalera also deserves praise, because he played quickly, powerfully and at the same time diverse. The bass player also tried his best, with the result that the album heard a powerful bass. And, of course, the album would not be so cool without the unique vocal of Max Cavalera. Also I can not fail to note the changes in the theme of the songs of this album. There are no more satanic texts here, the lyrics are already much deeper thought out. In general, the album is excellent, 10 points.

The first album heard by Sepultura was Roots, which is probably why I associate this band with the sound of 1996. But the most popular album of the Brazilians does not cancel a huge number of wonderful and influential releases released earlier. In the 80's the band was not known as some that does not cancel the highest quality of its early recordings. Schizophrenia is good from the first to the last track absolutely everything - the hard and biting sound of music, as well as each and all instruments together. The pure recording quality allows you to catch every nuance of recording. The raw thrash is penetrating and thorny, and the vicious and slightly cold, detached vocals of Max Cavalera make this album even more remarkable. Well, let's not forget about the class solos scattered around the release space. A classic that does not fade, but it glows even brighter through the years, neither to give nor take.

Schizophrenia was the album that revealed Brazilian trashers' Sepultura to the world. It is a great album, fast, raw and with great songs.
