This classic thrash metal album was recorded more than 25 years ago and it was the last album with Max Cavalera. I think "ROOTS" is the roots of SOULFLY.

GREAT GREAT ALBUM ever... Its unfortunate that this was the last Max era Sepultura, it would have been amazing to see where they would of went from here. 5 STARS

The style of "Roots" can be described as "Pritrashovanny hardcore." But this particular album became the most famous among Sepultura. There are no longer those downhole soloes of Kisser, or Igor Kavalera's quick play on drums. Everything is simple, uncomplicated. There is a large number of ethnics in the album, and it just fit. But the most important thing on this album is Max Kavalera's vocals, without which the album would not be so cool. From the songs I would like to highlight "Roots Bloody Roots" (this song is my favorite song in all the works of Sepultura), and the ethnic "Ratamahatta". In general, the album, although continuing the departure of the Spulture from the roots, is for me one of the best albums I have this team. I can put ten safely.

My favorite album from this famous Brazilian thrash metal band. A number of real hits with national color, unusual lyrics, Max Cavalera’s swang song in the group. The Roadrunner edition, well-done in all aspects.

imperdible! un disco ícono del nuevo estilo que Sepultura experimentó pasados los 90. El cd es bonito, tiene inlays y con buena presentación. lo recomiendo.
