Sings The Blues is an album by Roosevelt Sykes, released in 2006. The album is a blues CD. -

An immensely enjoyable set of low-key Chicago blues, recorded in 1962 and featuring 'The Honeydrippers' in fine fettle. Re-mastered from the original stereo production masters and, being part of Ace's "Hip Pocket" series, reissued as a facsimile of the original Crown album release.

Recorded in Chicago, April or May 1962. Performed by Roosevelt Sykes (voc, p) with Oett "Sax" Mallard (ts); Lee Jackson (eg); "Big" Willie Dixon (b); Armand "Jump" Jackson (d) [not mentioned in liner notes]. Made in Germany. Reissue released in Cardboard Sleeve (Mini LP Replica).
