Featuring the Jaynetts, the Hearts, Rita Zell, Ada Ray, the Endeavors and others, it includes the first ever recordings by Baby Washington (with the Hearts) R&B and soul sounds spanning the years 1955-70. Nearly all the selections are being released for the first time on a (legitimate) CD. Only one track has appeared on a previous Ace release.
