Alexander S. - 25/Sep/2019 I consider this album the best creation of Testament. Although it is made with emphasis on melodicity, but for me, such a thrash from Testamenta is better than what they mainly give out to listeners. Namely: a frequent change of rhythm and sugary complex guitar riffs.
Some people call this album "pop." I do not think so. Slow and melodic does not mean pop. "Poppy" is when simplified to impossible and monotonous, or even with a cardinal change of sound. Indeed, no one calls similar albums of other thrashers “pop”, such as, for example, “Metallica” (91) and Megadeth “Youthanasia” (94).
The album listens well and holistically. There are a couple of songs that are not quite interesting, but they do not spoil the overall listening experience. For me personally, Testament is a group of one album, which is “The Ritual”.
| | HYUNG RAE K. - 07/Aug/2019 this is testament's 5 studio album. Lead guitar alex skolnick is my favorite guitarist. He plays rhythm and solo good. I like Electric crown and let go of my world , deadline.
