F#a#oo is an album by Godspeed You Black Emperor, released in 1998. The album is a alternative LP. Three different cover versions: train, road sign or water tower: randomly shipped! - 3 DIFFERENT COVER VERSIONS, RANDOMLY SHIPPED

Recorded May 1997 at the Hotel2Tango. Band name, album title and image frame debossed on front cover. Cover has a print glued in place, but not a photograph as on the first edition. This particular version has an image of a water tower. Hand-drawn cross & catalogue number and Constellation logo stamp on back cover. Inserts: a black (possibly very dark purple) on light-brown locomotive etching & an envelope containing the credit sheet, a handbill from a previous show, a blueprint of "faulty schematics for ruined machine", a Constellation spring 2000 merchandise flyer and a Canadian penny flattened by a train. Tracktitles etched in the runouts. Sticker on the envelope (possibly removed from the polythene sleeve): "godspeed you black emperor! f#a#? original 1997 lp"
