 | Description: | Vinyl LP repressing of this 1988 album from the British band fronted by the troubled genius that is Shane MacGowan. If I Should Fall From Grace With God was the band's third studio full length album. Released in the wake of the band's biggest hit single, 'Fairytale of New York', it was their best-selling album, peaking at #3 in the UK Album charts and reaching the Top Ten in several other countries. If I Should Fall from Grace with God saw the departure of original bassist Cait O'Riordan and the addition of her former bandmate Darryl Hunt, Phil Chevron and ex-Steeleye Span member Terry Woods to the line-up. Woods and Chevron (the only two members of the Pogues actually born in Ireland) contributed the first original songs to a Pogues album not written by singer Shane MacGowan or banjo player Jem Finer, and the album also saw the band begin to move away from their Irish folk/punk roots and start to incorporate musical styles from other parts of the world, most notably Turkey and Spain., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Accordion, Piano, Mandolin, Dulcimer, Guitar, Cello, Percussion, Arranged By: James Fearnley, Alto Saxophone: Brian Clarke, Arranged By: Fiachra Trench, Banjo, Mandola, Saxophone: Jem Finer, Bass, Percussion, Vocals: Darryl Hunt, Bodhrán: Fran Byrne, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Brian Sheridan, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Frank Murray (2), Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Joey Cashman, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: John Lawlor, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Paul Scully, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Paul Verner, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Ron Kavana, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: Steve Lillywhite, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: The Man From The Indian Takeaway, Choir [The Pogues Choir]: The Pogues, Cittern, Concertina, Mandola, Tenor Banjo, Dulcimer, Guitar, Vocals: Terry Woods, Drums, Percussion, Vocals, Harmonica: Andrew Ranken, Engineer: Chris Dickie, Engineer: Nick Lacey, Engineer: Roy Spong, Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals: Philip Chevron, Harp: Siobhan Sheahan, Lacquer Cut By: Miles Showell, Photography By: Iain McKell, Producer, Engineer: Steve Lillywhite, Tenor Banjo, Spoons, Mandolin: Ron Kavana, Tenor Saxophone: Joey Cashman, Trombone: Paul Taylor (3), Trumpet: Chris Lee, Trumpet: Eli Thompson, Vocals, Guitar: Shane MacGowan, Vocals, Tin Whistle: Spider Stacy, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Written-By: Jem Finer, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Written-By: Jem Finer, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Featuring: Kirsty MacColl, Written-By: Jem Finer, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Written-By: Jem Finer, Written-By: Philip Chevron, Written-By: Jem Finer, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Arranged By: The Pogues, Written-By: Traditional, Written-By [Birmingham Six]: Shane MacGowan, Written-By [Streets Of Sorrow]: Terry Woods, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Written-By: Shane MacGowan, Arranged By: Andrew Ranken, Arranged By: James Fearnley, Written-By: Traditional, Labelcode RHI74156R.1 (825646255887), Phonographic Copyright (p) Warner Music UK Ltd., Copyright (c) Warner Music UK Ltd., Pressed By MPO, Lacquer Cut At Abbey Road Studios, Recorded At RAK Studios, Mixed At RAK Studios, Recorded At The Town House"If I Should Fall From Grace With God" est un album emblématique en format LP du groupe The Pogues, édité par Warner Music International.
