Sweet Fanny Adams was undoubtedly a one of the best Sweet's albums. Absolutely classic of hard rock. This 2005 CD reissue also contains 5 bonus tracks.

Oh yeah! This is truly a masterpiece of a great group. Rock and roll may not be dead, but it is now in a rather poor state, and Sweet - there were those guys who played the real rock and roll, under which you could (and should) dance and under which the imagination and painted old dance floors and musicians with unimaginable hairstyles and shoes on platforms. In the same album, the Sweetness of Sweets slightly decreased, sugaryness replaced rock and, most importantly, the drive that was in the previous jokes didn’t go anywhere. The song "Set Me Free" is simply shocking with its power - this is how Led Zeppelin, well Deep Purple, but not Sweet, but the riff from "Sweet F.A." could play just killed me on the spot. What is it? Iron Maiden? But no, this is a much more ancient people and until it came to vocals, I was sure that I was listening to real heavy music. The vocal of the Sweets is as high as always, now few people can take such high notes, and even in chorus! No words only emotions. The album also did not have more traditional twist, rock and roll and boogie tracks ("Pepperment Twist", "Rebel Rouser" and "AC-DC" respectively), but the song "Heartbreak Today" in my opinion is the best track ever from Sweet. It's amazing how they managed to add so much hard rock without losing their fuse. This is an album for centuries, an imperishable masterpiece, the best at Sweet.
