After six years of activity, many live shows across Italy and two demo CDs, 'Brothers Of Another Time' and 'Leave', the Italian band Orion Riders releases their own first full-length CD entitled A New Dawn. The sound is a mix of heavy metal from the '80s, symphonic power metal and U.S. prog-metal. Speaking of vocals, singer Joe Lombardo is a splendid mix of Helloween's Kiske and Queensryche's Tate. Nine tracks of pure heavy metal, 'In Memory' is a restless and evocative beginning while 'Whispers' and the title track are a mix of power rhythmics and melodious vocals.
