"Stormbringers Rules - The Legend" is a captivating CD release by the renowned Italian power metal band Domine, produced and distributed by Audioglobe srl. This album showcases Domine's signature blend of epic storytelling, soaring melodies, and powerful instrumentation that have made them a staple in the European metal scene since their formation in 1983. Known for their fantasy-inspired lyrics and dynamic compositions, Domine has earned international acclaim with albums like "Champion Eternal" and "Emperor of the Black Runes." Their music often draws inspiration from classic literature and heroic legends, making each track an immersive experience. Audioglobe srl., based in Italy, is recognized as one of Europe's leading independent music distributors and labels, supporting innovative artists across various genres while ensuring high-quality production standards.
Not their best album at all but surely not a step back in their career. Released between two great albums (Champion eternal and Dragonlord), this one is going to pay tribute to both of them. Atmospheres are less dark than in dragonlord for example, and in some songs, there's a warm approach to melody. "For Evermore" is a semi ballad song inspired by Brian May, as they are fans of Queen; this light rock guitar work does not exclude of course a stronger and more power oriented creation: Hurrican master is the classic speed song, perfect to introduce a live show, meanwhile Ride of the Valkyries is an interesting and well intriguing song with some tributes to Wagner too.Other good song from this platter is "Tur Leader of Man", inspired by Dune's sagas. I would not recommend this to ones which listen at Domine first time; but it remains indeed a good well built album all long time fans of this band must have.
