Digitally remastered two CD set containing a trio of albums form the Jazz legend. Features all of the existing music from the sessions that produced three original albums by the great Dexter Gordon. Recorded in 1961-62, these LPs consist of DOIN' ALLRIGHT, DEXTER CALLING and LANDSLIDE. Among the featured sidemen are such stars as Freddie Hubbard, Horace Parlan, Kenny Drew, Sonny Clark, Paul Chambers, Ron Carter, and Philly Joe Jones, among others. A single track from the same period showcasing Gordon in the company of fellow saxophonist Sonny Stitt has been added here as a bonus.
