Digitally re-mastered edition of this 1984 album from the R&B singer/songwriter. Be My Lover was O'Bryan's highest charting collection on the Billboard R&B Albums charts, peaking at #3. The first single, the insistent, chugging 'Lovelite' reached the top of the Billboard R&B Singles chart. Due to the success of 'Lovelite' Capitol released the second single form this album the up-tempo track titled 'Breakin' Together'. 'Go on And Cry' was the third single.
