"The Years Of Decay" est un album phare du groupe américain de thrash metal Overkill sorti en 1989 et désormais disponible au format CD. Cet opus est considéré comme l?un des plus grands succès d?Overkill grâce à ses riffs puissants mêlés à une touche mélodique et son énergie brute caractéristique du groupe. Des titres tels que « Elimination » ou « Time to Kill » sont devenus incontournables pour les fans et témoignent de la maîtrise technique ainsi que du talent d?écriture d?Overkill sous la production de Terry Date (connu aussi pour son travail avec Pantera).
