Gatefold / 180gr. / The 2011 Steven Wilson Stereo Remix
Description:
Limited vinyl LP pressing in gatefold sleeve including 24 page booklet. Digitally remastered and remixed by Steven Wilson. Aqualung was the fourth studio album by prog rock band Jethro Tull. Released in 1971, Aqualung, despite the band's disapproval, is regarded as a concept album featuring a central theme of "the distinction between religion and God". The album's "dour musings on faith and religion" have marked it as "one of the most cerebral albums ever to reach millions of rock listeners". Aqualung?'s success marked a turning point in the band's career, who went on to become a major radio and touring act. There's no arguing with it's commercial success, having sold more than seven million copies and continuing to outsell anything in the back catalog., Runningtime: 00:00:00, Arranged By [Orchestra Arranged By], Conductor [Orchestra Conducted By]: David Palmer (2), Bass Guitar, Alto Recorder, Voice [Odd Voices]: Jeffrey Hammond-Hammond, Design: Darren Evans (2), Drums [A Thousand Drums], Percussion: Clive Bunker, Electric Guitar, Recorder [Descant Recorder]: Martin Barre, Engineer: John Burns, Flute, Acoustic Guitar, Voice: Ian Anderson, Interviewee [Q & A]: John Burns, Layout [Original Layout By]: CCS (2), Liner Notes: Steven Wilson, Liner Notes, Interviewer [Interviews]: Dom Lawson, Management [Marketing By]: Helen Owens, Mastered By [Mastering By]: Peter Mew, Mixed By [New Stereo Mixes By]: Steven Wilson, Painting [Paintings By]: Burton Silverman, Photography By: Barry Plummer, Photography By: Bubi Heilemann, Photography By: Michael Putland, Photography By: Norbert Unfried, Piano, Organ, Mellotron: John Evan, Producer [Produced By]: Ian Anderson, Producer [Produced By]: Terry Ellis, Research [Additional Research By]: Don Needham, Research [Project Research], Coordinator [Project Co-ordination]: Tim Chacksfield, Transferred By [Muti Track Transfers By]: Kris Burton, Written-By: Ian Anderson, Words By, Lyrics By [Lyrics Written By]: Jennie Anderson, Labelcode RPLH146604.1 (0825646146604, AQUA 1), Record Company Vinyl Collector, Licensed To Chrysalis Music Publishing Ltd., Phonographic Copyright (p) Chrysalis Records Ltd., Copyright (c) Chrysalis Records Ltd., Published By The Ian Anderson Group Of Companies, Published By Ian Anderson, Published By Chrysalis Music, Recorded At Island Studios, Mastered At Abbey Road Studios, Pressed By Optimal Media GmbH
