FM nació en Londres en 1984 con los hermanos Steve y Chris Overland junto a Merv Goldsworthy y Pete Jupp; posteriormente se sumaría el guitarrista Jim Kirkpatrick entre otros miembros destacados durante su trayectoria musical internacionalmente reconocida por éxitos como "Bad Luck". La banda sigue siendo hoy día un nombre imprescindible dentro del panorama europeo del hard/AOR melódico tras décadas cosechando elogios críticos y seguidores apasionados alrededor del mundo.
