The album is a rock CD. - DANIEL CAVANAGH & DANIEL CARDOSO (ANATHEMA)
2013 album from the acoustic Rock band formed by Sean Jude, Kevin Murphy and Daniel Cavanagh of Anathema. Their powerful, yet subtle, blend of acoustic refrains, poetry and emotive vocals has been described as 'nature-mystical'. Leafblade have previously released one album, 2006's Beyond, Beyond and are joined on the this album by Dan's Anathema bandmate, Daniel Cardoso who plays drums. Produced by Cavanagh, the Kiss of Spirit and Flesh steps up the dynamics from Beyond, Beyond, with powerful anthemic refrains, uplifting orchestration and leaden guitar-work as well as the idiosyncratic lute-like nylon strings and multi-range vocals.
Packaged in a jewel case with clear tray and 12-page booklet.
Producer: Daniel Cavanagh
