Description:Ska Is Dead is a compilation of rock tracks released as CD on 10 Feb 2023. -
Australian pressing of this 2007 compilation features one bonus track: 'Alone in the Crowd' by the Resignators, one of the finest new Ska bands from Down Under. Ska Is Dead proves once and for all that, in 2007, Ska is far from dead and is, in fact, full of life and kicking up a fuss around the world. Thankfully, the hard-edged Punk Ska sounds of the late '90s is dead, though. We pulled the plug on those wannabees a few years back! This comp features a gaggle of international artists including the Porkers, Mustard Plug, the Toasters, Planet Smashers, Streetlight Manifesto, Big D & the Kids Table and many more! 23 tracks. Modern Music.

Valeriy R. - 04/May/2021 4 of 5 Stars!
As to the music, this is an excellent and representative compilation from 23 ska/punk bands that prove ska is not dead. As to the price, the best one! The only minus of the edition is its poor booklet.
