Alexander S. - 12/02/2020 Definitely a classic album, both by JP themselves and by heavy music in general. However, here the style of the group has not yet been fully formed. And the album is probably really more hard rock than metal. But it even benefits him. Indeed, such hits as “Victim Of Changes” and “Tyrant” should be exactly what they are (although shouting “Tyrant!” Itself is somewhat annoying). Well, Halford's vocals on "Sad Wings ..." are truly gorgeous. He is divine and unique. An example of this is the wonderful "Dreamer / Deceiver", in which Halford shows everything that he is capable of. Unfortunately, his voice never reached such heights again (except at the Unleashed In The East). In addition to the songs already presented, the album includes the calm instrumental "Prelude", the beautiful ballad "Epitaph", the famous song "The Ripper" (which I have never understood hit), and the classic hard rock things "Genocide" and "Island Of Dominaiton" . And each song is good in its own way. As a result, I’ll put a nine, although the album does not quite reach the maximum.

| | Ivica S. - 21/10/2018 ... and... Judas Priest in their beginnings... of HEAVY HARD music - Very good album - I recommend
| | Eduardo F. - 20/10/2017 An absolute classic of heavy metal. Must have for any metal fans.
| | Leonardo B. - 20/11/2015 Fundamental heavy metal, this album is the hard rock foundation of Judas Priest therefore all heavy metal. Victim of Chances might be the best heavy metal song ever.
| | guitfiddleRR - 30/09/2010 Sound: Wow, this album is awesome! I am just going to say it right away. Released in March of 1976, Judas Priest's sophomore album covers all of the f...
