This version of Best Of comes as a 1xCD. - PACKED WITH 28 TRAXOne of the so-called "bubblegum" sound pioneers, the 1910 Fruitgum Company began their career with three million-selling singles, "Simon Says", "1,2,3 Red Light" and "Indian Giver". This trio of songs, plus a bumper 25 additional titles (including some rare Italian language versions) are assembled here for an act whose good-time records still fill dance floors the world over. The term "bubblegum" may have originally been coined in 1967 by the new "serious rock" brigade as a put-down of music aimed at a pre-teen audience, but much of it was written and performed by many top American and British session players. Many "bubblegum" discs are now viewed with a fresh appreciation."Banquet" is a classic LP by Lucifer's Friend, released by Repertoire Entertainment GmbH. This album, originally launched in 1974, showcases the band's adventurous blend of progressive rock, jazz fusion, and symphonic elements. "Banquet" stands out for its ambitious arrangements and extended compositions such as "Spanish Galleon," which highlight the group's technical prowess and creative vision. The record remains a favorite among collectors and fans of 70s prog-rock due to its sophisticated musicianship and innovative soundscapes.
