Robin Kenyatta was a jazz saxophonist who issued a number of great albums on Atlantic records in the 1970s. Stompin' at the Savoy features Dr. John, Ron Carter, Alphonse Mouzon. Wounded Bird. 2008.

Originally released in 1974 [Atlantic SD 1656]. Tracks 1 to 3, 6 and 7 recorded & re-mixed at the Hit Factory, NYC, in January & February 1974. Track 4 recorded at Atlantic Recording Studios, NYC, in February 1967. Re-Mixed in Atlantic Recording Studios, NYC, in 1974. Tracks 5 and 8 recorded at Dynamic Sound Studios, Kingston, Jamaica, in March, 1973. Re-mixed at Atlantic Recording Studios, NYC, in 1974. Durations ripped from CD; not given on release.
