David Forrai - 10/02/2012 Did you ever wonder why the Moody Blues never played blues? Well, before Justin Hayward and John Lodge replaced Denny Laine and Clint Warwick, the band really did play the blues. This CD features 13 bonus track from the early years. The quality of the tracks are not always so good, but this is due to the equipment of the time. One intersting note is that most of the original songs were written by Denny Laine and Mike Pinder. Whle Mike remained with the band, he was never the prolific song writer he was when Denny was a a member.
