Descripción:Holly Ceroni (Elizabeth Berkley Der Club der
Teufelinnen), eine junge, alleinerziehende Mutter und
begnadete Köchin hat im Leben nicht wirklich Glück,
zumindest was Männer und Jobs angeht. Und dann hat sie
kurz vor Weihnachten auch noch ihr Los mit einem
Millionengewinn im Auto liegen lassen - das, wie es der
Zufall so will, von den beiden Kumpels Mike (Jason
Gray-Stanford Monk) und Joe vorsichtig formuliert
ausgeliehen wurde.

Die beiden Diebe entschließen sich aber dazu, das
gestohlene Los zurückzugeben, und Mike soll auf die
romantische Art versuchen, an einen Teil des Geldes zu
kommen. Dass sich Mike dabei Hals über Kopf in Holly
verliebt und alles seinen fast perfekten Lauf nimmt, war
dabei so nicht geplant - und dann wäre da ja auch noch die
bislang unausgesprochene Wahrheit über das Lotterielos ...
