The Choir of Hard Knocks is a group of homeless and disadvantaged people who share a love of singing and come together once a week under the leadership of founding choir director Jonathon Welch. They have been practicing together since September 2006. "listening to the final master of this Choir of Hard Knocks CD, it is hard to imagine this is the same choir that i created just a little over 12 months ago, and even harder to believe how much joy and inspiration the Choir of Hard Knocks has brought to the nation with their sheer courage and determination!
