 | Description: | If there is an artist in Spain who can reinvent pop music's language, it is Single. The ability shown by Teresa Iturrioz, to create with the help of her faithful producer Ibon Errazkin a unique sound of her own, original yet popular and absolutely modern, it's based on an exceptional taste to choose the best among the most diverse origins: reggae and country-pop, R&B and hip-hop, following the path where Le Mans had left it after their fabulous farewell trilogy. Fifteen mysterious, unusually beautiful songs, fifteen different worlds (fifteen styles, fifteen approaches), all linked by a thread that slowly shows an enormous creativity. Wrapped in beautiful art nouveau cover artwork (as usual, by top Spanish designer Javier Aramburu), "Pío Pío" starts with the amazing title track: From the very beginning we can tell we are listening to a song that's bigger than life, the kind of song that opens new ways of expression in pop music. Classic melodies Where almost all instruments are acoustic and played live. It might sound too big a statement, but we really think with pride that "Pío Pío" opens many new doors through which pop language can be invented again. | | No. of tracks: |
