1988 recording by Washington DC area piano trio led by Art Monroe with Paul Langosch - bass and Mike Smith - drums. Art was an important jazz figure and very talented and unique pianist in the DC area during the late 1980's and had a regular trio that worked together every week for many years. Monroe performs five originals and two standards, and the interplay between the fine pianist and his sidemen is impressive.

Art Monroe was a very popular jazz pianist working in the Washington, D.C. area during the 1980's. He was also dean of music at Howard Community College.
