This album is the recording of a very special evening in Amalia's home back in 1968. Renowned Brazilian poet Vinicius de Moraes, the man who wrote the lyrics for 'The Girl from Ipanema', was the guest of honor. Amalia sang, Vinicius and other guests read, and the whole session was carefully recorded.

A live recording of an evening at Amália Rodrigues' house, in Rua de São Bento, Lisbon, on the 19th December 1968, with brazilian poet and singer Vinicius de Moraes, and portuguese poets Natália Correia, Ary dos Santos and David Mourão-Ferreira. Fados by Amália and Narration [David Mourão-Ferreira] recorded at Valentim de Carvalho studios, in Paço d'Arcos.
