EROS 30 2 Compact Discs. Sony Music Entertainment Australia is proud to announce EROS 30, set for release Friday October 31st 2014. EROS 30 is a brand new Eros Ramazzotti greatest hits album, celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of 'Terra Promessa', the song that launched his career and Eros' subsequent worldwide career success. In 1984, the Festival Di San Remo in Italy turned the spotlight on young performers for the first time. Eros was a 21-year-old Roman singer/songwriter and the artist the public had unknowingly been looking for and, expecting for a while. He had an angelic face but was gutsy, spiky and talented. 'Terra Promessa', with lyrics and music co-written by Eros, spoke to young people and was tuned into the exact wavelength of the social issues of the time. And with it's modern dance beat it was one step ahead of the so-called British Invasion.
