| Description: | Western Australian outfit Blue Shaddy have started to attract a lot of positive national attention in the last twelve months. The band reached number 1 on the Perth Indie Charts in May, received a Best Instrumentalist Award (Belly McClelland) at the 2007 Blues at Broadbeach Awards in the same month, and then in November took out the2007 MusicOz Blues & Roots Artist. Plus, the word of mouth on their amazing live show saw Blue Shaddy gain invitations to most of the major music festivals on offer.
