| Description: | Grun is a Sydney, Australia-based musical project producing highly emotive, soundtrack-like post-rock music. Previously known as Greenland (changed in 2010 due to clashes with other band names overseas), the band draws it's influences from a wide variety of artists and composers such as Radiohead, Phillip Glass, Tool, Mogwai, Pink Floyd, Michael Nyman, the Cure and Isis. Andre Matkovic and Leon Kelly previously worked together as part of leading Sydney rock band Iliad before starting Grun in 2005. The band is currently working with acclaimed drummer Jon 'Howler' Howell.Limited edition of 100 copies, contains Grün's first EP "The Prisons of Language", released under their now discarded moniker [a399371].
